Angelyn "Lynn" Fisse

Angelyn Hannah Fisse, “Lynn”, Indianapolis, died July 18, 2021 at the age of 94. Born April 10, 1927 in Arcadia, IN, she was the 2nd child of Gerald and Mabel Hannah.

She was a kind and caring person who was loved and will be dearly missed by all. Her favorite pastimes (other than enjoying time her family and friends) were reading, working her crossword puzzles and bowling.

Lynn met her husband, Frank H Fisse in 1947. They were married on her birthday, April 10, 1948, and enjoyed almost 60 years together. They were blessed with six children, five survive, sons, Michael and Matthew Fisse, daughters Ruth (Rick) Newell , Mary Lynn (Bob) Burrows, Martha (Mike) McMahon, daughter-in-law, Patty Fisse, grandchildren, Shane Fisse, Rich (Kate) Newell, Jennifer (Don) Hill, Julie Newell, Jessica (Mike) Stapleton, Ben (Leslie) Stevens, Katie (Steven) North, Patrick, Matthew, Jack and Will McMahon, great grandchildren, Haillah (Andrew), Hali (Bobby), Drew, Audrey, Madison, Olivia, Wyler, Brewer, Wyatt, Reagan, Mason and Makayla, Seth & Erin, and great-great grandchildren, Emmalynn and Wesley. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Castor-Newby, and many nieces and nephews.

Lynn is predeceased by her parents, her husband, her son, Pat Fisse, and her brother Jerry Hannah.

Per Lynn’s request, there will be just a private service for immediate family. A memorial mass will be held at a future date for Lynn and her late husband Frank at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7241 E 10th St. Indianapolis, where they were members.

Lynn’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the nursing staff at Woodland Terrace of New Palestine and Paradigm Health for their care these last few months.
