Indianapolis

Angela Vanessa Walls, affectionately known as “Angie,” was born on May 24, 1974, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to James E. Walls, II and Betty (Clay) Walls.

At an early age, Angie placed her hope and faith in Christ. She was a member of Eastern Star Church, where she was baptized by Reverend Jeffrey A. Johnson, Sr. Her faith remained an important part of her life and provided a foundation of hope, strength, and love.

Angie was a woman who cherished her family deeply. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Aaron Ross, and a proud and loving mother. Her children were among the greatest joys of her life, and the love she had for them was immeasurable. Becoming a grandmother brought another special kind of happiness into her life, and she treasured the precious moments shared with her grandchildren.

Those who knew Angie will remember not only the love she had for her family, but also the meaningful relationships and friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her presence, love, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those blessed to have known her.

Angie was preceded in death by her father, James E. Walls, II.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Betty Walls; her devoted husband, Aaron Ross; her daughter, Kristen Roney; her sons, Kohler Roney and Angelus Ross; her grandchildren, Kholton and Riley; her siblings, Gloria Walls Pierce, James Edward Walls, III, Kathy Black Walls, Sharon Steward, Sharon (Randy) Norman, and Sandra (Elgi) Gilbert; and her dear friends, Youlanda Godfrey and Patricia Mack Keeley, who remained faithfully by her side.

Angie also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her presence.

The family extends a particularly heartfelt expression of gratitude to Youlanda Godfrey for her unwavering friendship, love, and devotion to Angie. Youlanda remained faithfully by her side until the very end, providing a level of care and companionship that will never be forgotten.

Although Angie's earthly presence will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the faith she embraced and the love she leaves behind. Her life will continue to be remembered through the family she cherished, the friendships she treasured, and the many beautiful memories that will forever carry her name.

Angie was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed. Her memory will forever remain a blessing in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
