Angela Rene Evans

Indianapolis, Indiana – Angela “Angie” Rene Evans, 62, passed away on November 22, 2025.

Angie was born on November 5, 1963, to Larry Blackwell and Carolyn (Bell) Norman in Anderson, Indiana. After graduating from Highland High School, she attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.

Angie began her work at Performance Marketing Group in 1989. For the next 35 plus years, she was the heart of the company as a Work Mom, Sister, Air Traffic Controller, Confidant, Problem Solver and most importantly Friend. While there have been many changes through the years, Angie was a constant and always with a smile. She was a significant part to PMG’s success and her presence will be missed.

Known for her warm, outgoing nature, Angie brought a smile to everyone’s face when she walked into a room. She was the fun aunt to all her nieces and nephews, delighting in spoiling them and making them feel special. When not traveling for work, she enjoyed time at home and time with her friends, family, and labradors.

Angie is preceded in death by her loving father, Larry A. Blackwell, and her stepfather of many years Michael K. Norman.

Angie is survived by her mother, Carolyn Norman; her brothers, Darin Blackwell (wife Kathy), Brian Norman (wife Laura), and Bill Norman (wife Bonnita), her beloved nieces (Kristel Hall and Lillian Renaud) and nephews (Dexter and Cole Blackwell; Caleb, Elisha, Garrett, Joseph, and Samuel Norman), as well as special Aunts and Uncles. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity that will live on in the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 12 pm – 2 pm. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm.
