Angela Annette Jewell

Angela Annette Gulliford Jewell, the second child of Carlyle F Gulliford and Hazel E Ellison Gulliford was born on July 1, 1940 in Marion, Indiana. Angela was educated in the Marion School Systems. Angela at an early age committed her life to Christ. Angela was baptized in April 1952 at the tender age of eleven and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. She was a member of Christ Temple, Marion, IN under the leadership of Elder Willard Holder. She moved to Indianapolis in January 1961 and made Grace Church her spiritual home under the leadership of Bishop Morris E Golder. Angela was a member for over 53 years. Angela was a faithful member until her departure. On June 29, 1963, Angela married her wonderful husband, Robert L. Jewell. Their union was blessed with two loving daughters Natalie Fanaun and Cydni Christine. Angela was Secretary for more than 10 years for Grace Apostolic Church and Administrative Assistant for the Legislative Services Agency 25 years. Angela was a loving and caring mother. Angela always found words of encouragement for whomever she came in contact with. Angela's friends will truly miss her smiles and her cheerfulness. Angela had a zest for life. Some of her passions were reading, playing the piano and listening to gospel and classical music. Angela also had a special relationship with her dog Hudson as well as her great granddaughter Brielle. On the ninth day of August 2014, Angela was called from labor to reward. Angela will continue to be loved and cherished by all. She leaves to carry on her loving memory 2 daughters Natalie and Cydni; grandsons Aaron and Matthew; 3 sisters Sharron McCoy; Paulette Jones(Paul); Susan Pettiford; brother Dennis Gulliford; special daughter Haley and great granddaughter Brielle; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; very special sisters Vernice Williams, Mary Ann McGruder and Juanita Hayes; Grace Church Family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Diane, brother Carlyle Jr, and loving husband Robert L. Jewell.
