Andria Anne Tansy

Andria Anne Tansy, 32, of Brownsburg, IN passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born in Indianapolis on June 6, 1980 to Julie Tansy and Scott Tansy. Andria was a 1998 graduate of Brownsburg High School and completed her Associate Degree at Ivy Tech in 2004. For the past 6 years she has worked in Medical Affairs for Covance Laboratory in Indianapolis. She is survived by her parents; son, Kaden Jackson Tansy; siblings, Ellen Tansy (Eric Ellis) and Justin Tansy. Andria is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Abriella, Brailyn and Lawson Ellis; grandmother, Ruth Tansy; aunts and uncles, Susie (Neil) Rude, Sally (Bill) Zafian, Father Loral Tansy, Bruce (Susie) Tansy, Lana Keesling; cousins, Adam and Nathan Rude, Brian, Holly and Meredith Zafian, Renee, Kirsten and Evan Pryor, Nicole and Lauren Keesling. Andria is also survived by her former husband, Michael Johnson and his mother, Johnni Johnson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Jacquelyne Swails; paternal grandfather, Loral Tansy. Visitation for Andria will take place at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 3 until 8pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12noon, also at the funeral home. Entombment will take place in Washington Park North Cemetery. Contributions in Andria's memory may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to her family so that a trust may be set up for her son's future education expenses.
