Andrew Truden

Andrew Ludwig Truden, 91, of Zionsville, formerly of Indianapolis, died November 15, 2011. He was born to the late Mathias and Agnes (Baraga) Truden on October 5, 1920 in Cleveland, OH. Andrew attended East Technical High School and Fenn College in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy who served in WWII as a Fire Controlman. Andrew married Jean Ruth LaPorte on March 14, 1942. Andrew was a Certified Licensed Underwriter with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 34 years. He was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church and a 3rd and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He was also active in Lions Club and the German American Club. He loved dancing with his lovely wife Jean. Andrew is survived by his wife Jean Truden; his children Kathe Stowe (Bob), Fred Truden (Colleen), Andrea Kriech (Tony), and Tom Truden (Kathryn); 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Services will be Friday, November 18, 2011 at 2 p.m., with calling from noon until time of service at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville.
