Andrew "Andy" Van Tassel

Andrew "Andy" Van Tassel passed away surrounded by his family at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN on Thursday, January 1st, 2026. He was born on May 10th, 1968 in Muncie, IN to Clark and Sharon Van Tassel. He attended Wes-Del High School and graduated in 1986. He then attended Ball State University where he received his degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. He worked as a nuclear medicine technologist for IU Health, where he was a beloved coworker and friend.

He was a proud father to one daughter, Emily Van Tassel of Columbus, OH. He adored his wife, Kimberly Van Tassel, whom he married in 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Clark Van Tassel. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, his daughter, Emily, his mother, Sharon, and his brother, Tony.

A celebration of life date will be determined at a later time.
