Andrew 'A.J' Gaines

Andrew "A.J." Gaines, 55, of Franklin, IN passed away February 25, 2012 in Louisville, KY. He was born February 11, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN son of Houston M. and Eva L. Gaines. He attended Cannelton High School in Cannelton, IN. A.J. was a former Marion County Special Deputy and a Deputy Town Marshall with the Home Croft Police Department. He owned and operated Horizon Security Company, servicing the Indianapolis south side. He enjoyed restoration of muscle cars and antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his fiancé, Sarah Nonte of Louisville, KY his son, Andrew J. Gaines, Jr. of Franklin, IN; his daughter, Tiffaney Gerlach (Eli) and grandson, Braydon Vaal both of Tell City, IN; his brother Houston W. Gaines (Debbie Keller) of Franklin, IN; a niece Kyleen Lockard (Steve) of Zionsville and nephews, Waylon Gaines (Jessica) of Southport, IN and Austin Gaines of Franklin, IN Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, March 2, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229, with burial in the Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00pm, Thursday and from 9:00am until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
