Amos Lee

January 30, 1947 — October 10, 2013

Amos Lee, Jr., 66, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Amos was a graduate of Arlington High School and IUPUI. He was a retired military veteran, having served in Vietnam. He also retired from a long career with the U.S. Postal Service. Amos loved to travel, having visited Australia, Italy, and China. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela (Snodgrass) Lee, and his parents, Amos and Josephine Lee. He is survived by his children, Amy Wagoner (Mike), Amanda McDorman (Paul), and Jason Lee (Carey); eight grandchildren; his sister, Sandra Flaherty (Robert); and his canine companions, "Lucky" and "Checkers". Services will be on Tuesday, October 15 at 11 AM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East. Visitation will be on Monday, October 14 from 5-8 PM at the funeral center. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
