Mooresville, IN

With heavy hearts and deep reverence, we remember and celebrate the life of Amnouay Khotxay, who departed this world on July 27, 2026, lovingly surrounded by her family in the comfort of her son and daughter-in-law’s home. Born on February 10, 1950, in Samanh, Laos, Amnouay’s remarkable journey through life was marked by unwavering dedication, compassion, and an abundance of love for those whose lives she so gently touched.

Those closest to Amnouay knew her as amazing, funny, loving, and endlessly caring. She lit up every room she entered with her gentle humor and found joy in even the simplest moments. Her ability to love unconditionally and work tirelessly for others defined her relationships and left lasting impressions on all generations of her family.

Amnouay’s heart belonged first and foremost to her family, who will hold her in their memories forever. She is survived by her husband, Keng Khotxay; her beloved sons, Phayrot (Kaisone), and Joy (Dominique) Khotxay; her cherished daughters, Ammarinh Khotxay and Mixay Khotxay; her supportive brothers, Sarith (Hatsady) Ounchaidee and Vanith (Khampheng) Ounchaidee; her caring sister, Bounlay (Samleth) Ketvath and her 10 grandchildren. Each of them carries forward her spirit—one marked by laughter, affection, compassion, and dedication.

As we remember Amnouay, we also honor those who welcomed her into eternity: her father, Thongphoun Ounchaidee; her mother, Foil Ounchaidee; and her step-mother, Chanh Ounchaidee.

To honor Amnouay’s memory, family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Both will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Speedway, 2950 N High School Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224.

As we bid farewell, we remember Amnouay Khotxay for her nurturing heart, her humor, her remarkable dedication to family and work, and the countless ways she made life brighter for those around her.
