Amalia Lorian Tunny

December 22, 1930 — October 22, 2013

Amalia Tunny, 82, of Indianapolis, was the only daughter of Emmanuel Lorian and Mary (Hudak) Apt. She is survived by her children, Charmaine (Fred) Crosley, Edward Tunny and Carolyn (Jim) Moore; grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) Ford, Andrew, Ashley, Malorie and Zachary; great-grandsons, Blaine and Evan. Amalia was preceded in death by her loving brother, George. Always young at heart, Amalia was devoted to her family. She married Ervin, the love of her life, on a hot summer day in 1948. Amalia unexpectedly lost Ervin to the Lord in 2008. She had a passion for life taking every opportunity to sing and dance and enjoy a good laugh. Her passing has left a hole in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 2-6pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway with a rosary service beginning at 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday morning at 10am in St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation. You are invited to go to the Guest Book page to pass along your personal message or tell a story. Sincerely, -Your friends at Flanner and Buchanan
