Aloysius Ambrose 'Al' Brite

June 30, 1932 — March 20, 2011

Aloysius Ambrose “Al” Brite 78, Indianapolis, passed away March 20, 2011. Al was a retired, self- employed hairdresser at the former King Cole building for 35 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Al was a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church. He is survived by his best friends and neighbors, Larry and Peggy Born and Linda Holden; daughters, Sandra McCarty and Nancy Thompson; sisters, Justine Walter and Mary Ann Selking. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Brite and a brother, Roman Brite. Services for Al will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, with visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
