Alma M. (Imhausen) Thompson Bratcher

Alma M. (Imhausen) Bratcher 90, passed away March 20, 2013 at IU Health – West. She was born December 20, 1922 in Basket Station, Kentucky the daughter of Lora (Mathews) and Rev. William Thompson. Alma had worked various manufacturing jobs in Indianapolis and retired from Wayne Township School Corporation. She was a member of Westside Church of Nazarene and had attended Rainbow Acres Church of God for many years. Alma never met a stranger, very sociable with family and friends. She loved her church and family. Alma is survived by her husband, Rev. Maurice Bratcher; daughters, Elizabeth Smith, Connie (Sam) Butler; grandchildren, Phillip and Joseph Smith and Samuel Butler; step-children, Rosemary Fletcher, Jerry Bratcher, Daryl Bratcher, Marsha Johnston, Lisa Wilkey, and David Bratcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Imhausen and seven siblings. Services will be 11:00 A.M. March 25, 2013 at Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 10951 Co. Rd. 100 S. Indianapolis 46231. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. March 24, 2013 at the church. You are invited to go to the Guest Book page to pass along your personal message or tell a story.
