Allen Lee Murphy

Allen Lee Murphy 78, of Martinsville, IN. passed away November 29, 2012. Allen was born October 26, 1934 to the late Carl Murphy and Opal Murphy Bell, in Rushville, Indiana. He retired from International Harvester/Navistar as a Tool Maker in 1995, after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #17 on 16th Street, Indianapolis and a member of The National Rifle Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn J Murphy; daughter, Barbara (Gary) Poland; son Dale (Becky) Murphy; step-daughter Pamela (Darren Hicks) Bowman; and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and step-father who raised him, Wyatt Bell; Infant daughter, Debra Lee Murphy; brother, Charles Murphy and sister, Jenny Edwards Friends may call from 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Sunday, December 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Interment Monday, in Washington Park East Cemetery.
