Allen Christopher Ellison

Allen Christopher “Chris” Ellison, age 75 of Plainfield, IN passed peacefully away with his wife by his side on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Chris was born on December 8, 1950 in Indianapolis, a son of Moses and Gwendolyn (Mason) Ellison.

Chris was one of 3 children. He is survived by his siblings: Cheryl Goldman (Bill), Wayne Ellison (Ginny)

Chris married Lisa Cave on June 23, 2000 in Hendricks County. He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Lisa Ellison of Plainfield, IN.

Chris is survived by his children: Stacie, Charity, George, Shelli and Corey (Alex)

Grandchildren: Tori, Madison, Riley, Steven Alexandra, Kennedy and Addison

Great grandchildren: Everett, Astrid, Norah and Sage

And several nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by: Grandparents Tito and Norma Alonza, Parents Moses and Gwendolyn (Mason) Ellison and Great Granddaughter Lyla June

Chris grew up in Danville, IN.  He attended Danville Community High School and graduated in 1969.

After high school Chris was drafted into the Navy and went to Vietnam. He served 6 years and after 4 years he was a hospital medic.

He was a retired auto mechanic and restorer. He loved his job and was very good and creative. He was a very honest and by the books kind of guy.

His hobbies and passions included being with family, fishing, camping, model cars, model planes, rc planes, making music and singing.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

His funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Pastor Chris Wynn will officiate.

Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
