Allan Jeffrey "Jeff" Reinking

Allan Jeffrey “Jeff” Reinking, 74, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024. He was born on August 26, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Allan W. Reinking and Patricia Reinking.

Jeff was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, truly embodying the sentiment that “Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad.” He was known to his family as Super Granddaddy. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jackie, daughters Stephanie (Brent) Dicus, Brittany (Luke) Wiseman, Jaclyn Helman, and his five cherished grandchildren, Reid and Noelle Wiseman, Jack Helman, and Lucy and Sadie Dicus. He and his wife, Jackie, were unwavering supporters of their daughters and grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bill Reinking. Jeff held a special place in his heart for his dogs Griffin and the late Gracie.

Jeff graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis. He spent his late teen summers as a camper and counselor at the Cottonwood Gulch Prairie Trek Expeditions in New Mexico.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He attended Northwestern University where he earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business. 

Jeff spent his successful professional career in the areas of finance and consulting, retiring in 2015.

Beyond his family and career, Jeff shared a passion for soccer as a referee for over 25 years with the Carmel Dads’ Club, mentoring countless young soccer players.

The family wishes to thank the exceptional doctors, nurses, and techs at Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital for their care and loving support.

A private service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
