Allan "Big Al" Chandler - a personality larger than life - died peacefully, surrounded by his wife, Paula and daughters, Terri & Pat. Al was born in Columbus, IN, March 19, 1936, to Leonard S. and Alma Mae (Snyder) Chandler, he grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Shortridge High School, Class of '56. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Al is Survived by his wife, Paula L. (Lohman) Chandler of Phoenix, Arizona; Children, Theresa L. Chandler-Royse (Ron) of Phoenix, Arizona and Patricia L. (Chandler) Collier (Rich), of Zionsville, Indiana; Grandchildren, Chris Zablocki- now serving in the Army stationed in Germany, Keith Zablocki, (Courtney) and great grandson, Jameson- living in Prescott, AZ, Nick Collier, Zionsville, IN, Caleb Collier and Glen Collier Anderson, IN, Sibling, Donna Mae Wolfe, Glendale, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Leonard S. Chandler and Alma Mae
(Snyder) Chandler, Brother - Grover Keith Chandler, Son - Keith Allan Chandler, Grandchild -James Allan Zablocki, and Nephew - Steven Richard Latham.
A Celebration of Al's life will be held from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St. Zionsville, IN 46077
