Alison Warstler

Alison Jean Warstler, 72, of Indianapolis, died September 14. Alison was born August 15, 1938 in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School and while there was a varsity cheerleader. While attending Indiana University she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Alison was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, The Children’s Museum Guild, the Boys and Girls Club of America. She very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends, traveling, and church. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank J. and Mary F. Unversaw. Alison is survived by her loving children, Rob (wife Patty) Warstler, Jane (husband Jeff) Castell, and Jim Warstler; her adored grandchildren, Jack and Sam Castell, Joe, Olivia, and Emily Warstler, and her brother, Frank (wife Charlotte) Unversaw. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, September 17, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Broad Ripple. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18 at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
