Aline L. Scobee 91, died July 7, 2015 at the Forum at the Crossing Rehabilitation Unit. Aline was born in Mt. Sterling, KY on July 8, 1923 to the late Peter and Minnie Strange. She graduated from Camargo High School. . Aline was employed by Allison Div., Crane Plumbing Co., and Eli Lilly Co. She was at Eli Lilly for 38 years as the Group Leader in the Payroll Dept. Her work was very demanding and required many long hours in order that everyone was able to get their pay checks, but Aline loved her job and she loved the people she worked with. Aline was a member of The Castleview Baptist Church for many years. She was especially fond of the Senior Citizens groups. Aline also was a member of The First Baptist Church and The Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church until her health deteriorated. She was a joyful, loving person and was loved by all. Aline was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Irene Hanna and Pauline Gooch. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert L. Scobee, sisters, Norma J. Olleman and Phyllis A. Bunten, nephews, Rick Hanna and Bobbie Gooch, nieces, Teresa Muncie and Cindy Gooch, two great nephews, Zachary Bunten and Logan Gooch. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:30pm., at Northside Baptist Church, 3021 E. 71st Indpls, IN 46220. Aline and Robert would have been married 65 years on September 23, however, their association and memories goes back 70 years. The family wants to thank the staff at the Rehabilitation Unit for the loving and diligent care that was extended to Aline. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Northside Baptist Church
