Alice Louise Wood

Alice Louise (Price) Wood 80 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 23, 2026. Calling will be held on February 03, 2026 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway from 2-4 pm with a funeral service beginning at 4 pm. A complete obituary and video tribute may be viewed  HERE

Alice was a dedicated teacher for many years before beginning a second career in real estate. She made a lasting impact in both professions—helping students grow, learn, and find confidence, and later guiding families in finding homes, sometimes even working with former students as adults. When out in the community, former students would often stop to share fond memories of their time in her classroom. Alice had a gift for connecting with others and for leaving the world better than she found it.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank, whom she married in 1964 and with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2021; her parents, Horace and Marie Price; and her sister, Katherine Morris. She is survived by her brother, David Price (Skyring); her children, Rob Wood (Jessica) and Kristi Walters (Curt); her beloved grandchildren, Morgan Back (Troy), Willow Walters, and Liam Walters; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2026 from 2:00PM – 4:00PM , followed by a 4:00PM Funeral Service at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway.
