Alice Lillian Ruesch Zuroske
is safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. She was born in Berwyn, Illinois, November 4, 1931. She died at home in New Palestine, Indiana surrounded by family and friends, September 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Edward Zuroske, Survivors include daughter, Janice Zuroske White, son James (Crystal) Zuroske, grandchildren Jaime (Zuroske) Slusher, and Kevin Slusher, Merideth White, Andrew White, Christopher (Jessica) Zuroske, and great grandchildren Aiden and Samuel Slusher. Alice was active in her church, Christ Lutheran Church of Irvington, L.W.M.L., Community Hospital Volunteers, and Washington Square Mall Walkers. She was beloved by family and many friends and will be greatly missed. Alive found comfort and courage in a faith so strong that those around her drew strength from her example and wisdom. Those who knew Alice found her quiet ways a source of Inspiration. Alice was looked up to as a mentor and role model by many because of the firm foundation and conviction of her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan Fu neral Center-Washington Park East . Services will be Friday, September 30, 2011 from Christ Lutheran Church of Irvington, 345 N. Kitley Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219 at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be later at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
