Alice Idell Babrick

Alice Idell Babrick, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.  She was born on June 14, 1941 in Frankford, KY as the oldest of 9 children born to the late William Thomas and Mandy Alice (Wise) Richard.

Alice met the love of her life, Frank Babrick while working at Marsh Grocery and they were married in 1961.  She supported him throughout his career and was his constant companion.  Alice and Frank enjoyed traveling around the world and enjoyed hosting family and friends in their home in Bloomington.  Alice loved to shop and cook and she was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church.

Alice is survived by her siblings, Mary E. Swift, Lisa Richard, Morris Richard, Larry Richard and Ronnie Richard; along with several very special nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Frank; and brother, Danny Richard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 11am – 1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with a funeral service immediately following.  Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.
