Alice Lillian Good of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away quietly on May 27, 2026, at 98 years of age. She was born January 16, 1928, in Horse Cave, Kentucky to the late Benjamin and Helen (Barber) Whitlow. Lillian, as she affectionately went by, worked numerous jobs in her lifetime but the most current was a Cook for Head Start from 1995-2005. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Bethel A.M.E. Church in Seymour, Indiana where she served as a steward and stewardess. She was also a Torchlighter in the Ada B. Maddox Missionary Society. Lillian enjoyed cooking, baking, going on walks, watching the Game Show Channel, and spending quality time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many. Lillian is survived by her loving children, Mark Edmonds, Sr., Brenda Edmonds Wilson, her grandchildren, Sierra (Archie) Veale, Olivia (Enrique) Scott-Alcantara, Anthony Scott, and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Judith Lillian, Lillana, Eddie. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Edmonds, Melbert Good, her son, Edward Edmonds, her grandchildren, Mark Edmonds, Jr., Chauncey Edmonds, Donald Edmonds II, and her brother, Benjamin "BJ" Whitlow, Jr. Services will be held at the Crossroads AME Church, 4602 N. College Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana with Visitation there from 10:00am-12:00pm with the Funeral Service at 12:00pm. Lillian will be laid to rest at the Barber Family Cemetery in Barren County, Kentucky on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00pm CST. The family suggest that any memorial gifts in memory of Lillian be directed to the Bethel AME Church, 200 South Lynn Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274.
