Alfreda Sue Lester 61 years old, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 22, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Sue was known for her generous and giving spirit to all who knew her. She was an avid gardener, cake decorator, and was well known as a cat lady. Sue Lester was born on April 9, 1953 to Alfred and Mary Winborn in Merced, California. She is survived by: Her loving husband: Thomas L. Lester; Children: Sabrina Allen (Cricket Neel), Trina Lester, Dace Keeling (Shelley Keeling), Weston Keeling (Brandie Keeling), Robin Ngooi (Kevin Ngooi), and Sheila Weir (Jackie Weir); Grandchildren: Samantha Ngooi, James Bumb, Ashten Lester, Liberty Bumb, Katie Ngooi, Hanna Bumb, Dace Keeling, Patrick Keeling, Justin Ngooi, Brant Keeling, Seth Keeling, Lilliana McIntire, Nina Keeling; Great-grandchild: Evan Amory; Siblings: Faye Chisler (Jay Chisler), Shirley Warner (Earnie Warner), Lois Brantley (Brian Brantley); Feline Companions: Zelda, Feather, Ben, Tiger-Lily, Shirley-May, Dusty, and Callie. She is preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Alfred and Mary Winborn; brothers, Alfred Winborn, Jr., Luther Winborn, and Jimmy Monaghan. Family and Friends may call from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday, January 29, 2015 with funeral service Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00am in Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
