Alfred W. Eaker, Sr.

Alfred W. Eaker, Sr., 78, Avon, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away October 14, 2016. He worked at Allison Transmission for 38 years. Alfred is survived by his wife, Joyce Eaker; his children, Al Eaker, Jr. (Aja), Robert C. Eaker (Lori), David M. Eaker, and Anita A. Gray (Steve); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be on Thursday, October 20 at 1 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 19 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral center, and also from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
