Albert W. Shelton Age 88 of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Albert retired in 1982 after 40 years of service as Carman with New York Central / Amtrak in Beech Grove. Albert was an avid checker player. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert C. & Mundane Shelton, sister, Ruth M. Preuss. He is survived by his brother Paul Shelton, 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street from 4-6 pm. Services will be Monday, March 19, 2012 at 1 pm from the Funeral Center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
