Alan Stanton Butler of Indianapolis died on June 22, 2021 at the age of 66.
He was born December 31, 1954 in Greenfield, IN to the late Kenneth and Peggy Butler.
Alan graduated from Greenfield Central High School. He went on to serve his country in the US Air Force serving during Vietnam and was a very proud veteran. He went on to attend IUPUI. He spent over 25 years in Sales for surveying equipment companies.
His interests included golfing and dancing. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children Adrian Stanton Butler (Heather) and Megan Louise Butler; grandchildren Henry and Olivia Butler and Kyler Juday; siblings Pam Whitted, Teresa Helton, and Mark Butler; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Kenneth “Bruce” Butler and Kendra Sacco.
A Gathering will be held Saturday, July 3 from 2 to 3 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3 PM.
