Alan H. Lobley,
89, of Indianapolis, died March 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1927 in Elkhart, IN to the late Eva M. and Fred A. Lobley. He was a graduate of Elkhart H.S and received his B.S.Ch. E. from Purdue University in 1949. He attended graduate school at the University of Michigan in 1950 and received his law degree from Indiana School of Law in 1952. He was a J.D. 1st Lt in the U.S.A.F from 1952-54. In 1997 he retired as partner from Ice, Miller, Donadio, and Ryan. He was a member of Indiana Law Review, Indianapolis Historic Preservation Committee, American Bar Association and was on the board of directors from 2003-09 at the Indianapolis Rowing Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Nolan Lobley (also pictured above). He is survived by children, Sarah Lobley and James Lobley; and grandchildren, Cora Gordon and Willem Lobley. Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple.
