AkikoDowdell, 71, passed away April 14, 2016.
She was bornMarch 1, 1945 in Akito-Ken, Japan daughter of Tsuyako and Jiro Ito.
Akiko issurvived by husband, Leonard Dowdell; her sons, Anthony (Betty) Beatriz Dowdelland Andre Dowdell; grandchildren, Courtney, Noah, and Juna Dowdell; sisters,Satchiko and Midori Ito and special friends, Stella Maglie and Gloria Ayala.
Preceded indeath by her parents and 2 brothers, Hidaki and Hiroshi.
Visitationwill be 10 am until service time at 1 pm Saturday, April 23, 2016 at HopeBaptist Church 10355 N. Girl School Road Indianapolis, IN 46214. Burial willfollow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. has been entrustedwith arrangements.
