Agnes 'Aggie' Justice

Agnes "Aggie" Carpenter Justice 80 of Carmel, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. Aggie was born January 22, 1933 in Mountain City, GA to the late William L. and Naomi J. Bradley Carpenter. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia. Aggie was a devoted member of Epworth United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was instrumental in the growth of Epworth's MYF and enjoyed her work with Stephen Ministries. She was also heavily involved with Stansfield Circle, the Home Economist Guild, the Carmel Symphony and her multiple Bridge groups. Her love of God, family and nature were evident in all the lives she touched. Especially through her Epworth community, her hours spent in her garden and her love of world travel, her most recent trip to China in December and January. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Epworth United Methodist Church, 6450 Allisonville Road, for visitation. The funeral service will at be held on Saturday, May 18 at 12:30 pm. also at Epworth United Methodist Church. Burial will immediately follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Aggie was the widow of Dr. William Harold "Bill" Justice, Sr. She is survived by her children, Steven C. (wife, Laurel Seibels) Justice, Christopher S. (wife, Dr. Rose Ong) Justice, Michelle L. Justice-Wright, Lynn O'Kelly (husband, Dr. David) Bangsberg; grandchildren, William, Calder, Mary Caroline, Anna, Kyle, Logan, Bradley, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Collier, Brooklyn and Madelyn. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Harold Justice, Sr., her son, William Harold Justice, Jr., her brother, Wyatt Carpenter and her sister, Joanne Carpenter Spooner .
