Aden Assad Dastour

Aden Assad Dastour, a beloved young man whose light brightened the lives of countless individuals, passed away on May 30, 2025, at the tender age of 17. Born on February 18, 2008, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Aden's journey was marked by a profound intellect and a boundless spirit, which he shared generously with those around him.

A rising Senior at Cathedral High School, Aden distinguished himself not only as a scholar but also as a passionate communicator of knowledge, particularly in the realms of Physics and Coding. His exceptional intelligence was accompanied by a witty sense of humor, allowing him to connect effortlessly with his peers and teachers alike. Aden's kindness and gentle heart left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him. His warmth, combined with a smile that could brighten any room, made him truly remarkable.

Aden cherished his time spent with his family and friends, as well as the companionship of his two beloved dogs, Finn and Moe. His close-knit relationships reflected the love and joy he experienced in life, and his absence will be felt deeply by those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.

Aden is survived by his parents, Tracy and Assad Dastour; his sister, Ava Dastour; and his grandparents, Nadine Bielenberg, Dan Messerschmidt, Susan Dastour, and Aziz Dastour. Together, they will honor and celebrate his life, ensuring that his legacy of kindness, intelligence, and humor continues to inspire.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on June 5, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan - Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, concluding the day’s services at 1:00 PM. Everyone is encouraged to gather in memory of Aden, a young man whose impact on this world will never be forgotten.
