A. Margaret Manning Bertrand

A. Margaret Bertrand 69, Sheridan, passed away February 11, 2012. She was born on December 20, 1942 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Harry and Imelda Marie (Uehlein) Manning. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau nursing sorority. Margaret was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents her brother, Frank Manning, and her granddaughter Jennifer. Margaret is survived by her children, Rose-Marie Kliban (Douglas Zarra), Jennifer DeVries, Mary Lynch (Richard), Elizabeth Bertrand, David Bertrand, and Benjamin Bertrand (Monica); her brother, Jim Manning and her grandchildren, Susan, Caitlin, Mary, Carolyn, Samantha, and Bethany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 16 at 11 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Spring Mill Road, Westfield. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association , with envelopes available at the church.
