A. Frank Gleaves III
76, died December 24, 2014. He was born October 30, 1938 to A. Frank Gleaves Jr. and Jane (Fisher) Gleaves. He was married to Charlene (Everett) Gleaves on March 21, 1964. Charlene predeceased him in 2008. Frank was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, and was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School, Butler University, and Indiana University Indianapolis (now McKinney) School of Law. He was a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of Indiana and former Deputy Marion County Prosecutor. He retired from the Prosecutor's Office in 2002. In his retirement, he enjoyed following the athletic and scholastic pursuits of his four grandchildren at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Bishop Chatard High School. He could often be found at several games at several venues on the same day. Frank was a past President of Broad Ripple Haverford Little League, and served several years on its Board. He served on the Board of Directors for Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center for several years. He was a Master Gardener. Frank is survived by his son, Drew, daughter-in-law Sally, and by his grandchildren; Sam, Jack, Charlie and Janie. Friends may call at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014. Please, no flowers, in lieu thereof, it is suggested that donations be made to Riley Hospital for Children, to Broad Ripple Haverford Little League, or to the donor's favorite charity.
