Michael B. "Mike" Messenger

Michael B. “Mike” Messenger, 68 of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 9, 2021. Mike was born on November 13, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Everett and Helen (Ryan) Messenger. He was a 1971 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and early on in his working career, he was an auto mechanic at several Indianapolis auto dealerships. Mike decided to go back to school and earned an Associates Degree from Ivy Tech. He went on to work for Allison’s/ Rolls Royce and retired from there after 25 years in 2020. Mike is survived by his wife, Jean (Miller) Messenger, son Steven Messenger, and brother, Kenneth Messenger. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Messenger and a brother, Gary Messenger. Services will be private, and he will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. Flanner Buchanan Decatur township is honored in serving the Messenger family.
